S&S Directional Drilling Inc is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Traffic Control Laborer to support our active underground utility projects. This role involves the critical task of establishing and maintaining safe traffic zones around construction areas. Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control equipment including cones, signs, and barricades based on engineered traffic control plans
• Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and traffic control layouts
• Safely direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic around active job sites
• Ensure safety of the public and construction crew by enforcing traffic control procedures
• Coordinate with crew leaders and foremen to implement safe lane closures
• Perform daily inspections and inventory checks of traffic control equipment
• Assist with additional labor support as required on job sites
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in traffic control or construction labor
• Ability to read and follow traffic control plans and construction drawings
• Familiarity with MUTCD standards and regional safety regulations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Current flagger certification preferred (ATSSA or equivalent)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

• Full-Time | Monday to Friday
• Start and end times vary depending on project site and scope. Occasional travel projects are available.

• Based in Corona, CA, with projects throughout Southern California, including upcoming work in Escondido and San Diego.
