Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to gather data needed for precise estimates.
• Analyze project specifications and requirements to create detailed cost estimates.
• Utilize HeavyBid software (or similar) to prepare comprehensive bids and estimates.
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budget compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and evaluate site conditions for estimating purposes.
• Prepare and maintain clear, detailed reports outlining labor, materials, overhead, and other costs.
• Support project management tasks to ensure timely completion of estimates and project milestones.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC estimating or a closely related field (required).
• Proven experience in construction estimating or construction project coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and cost control techniques.
• Familiarity with HeavyBid estimating software or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail in pricing and contract evaluation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to commute to or relocate to Chino, CA (required).
