Distribution Operations Coordinator

About the Job
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support front desk activities, such as receiving mail and support for shipping requests.
- Support operations team with scheduling building visits and meetings.
- Creates and maintains databases and spreadsheets of distribution statistics and vitals, as well as meeting preparations.
- Supports & document processes for collecting data and reporting (work instructions).
- Assist and support document retention / filing and or scanning.
- Maintains Distribution Center roster for all departments by Leader and working schedule.
- Supports Temp Agency relationships and communications regarding temp staffing.
- Maintains tracking of supplies and reorder as needed.
- Maintains clear records of shipping account numbers and resources - for all shipping points within DC & Retail, as well as set up of maintaining users.
- Maintains accurate records for tracking attendance emails, safety trainings and other employee related information as needed.
- Assures all new team members are given accurate training and safety information.
- Track and support issuance of supplies / lockers and badges for staffing.
- Supports tracking expenses incurred by distribution center and facilities.
- Track and manage all requests sent to IT and Facilities and follow up through completion of requests.
- Direct liaison to Human Resources and other internal departments.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Meets productivity standards, strives to increase productivity and Completes tasks correctly and on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred or two + years experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive computer experience to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or other related email software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group presentations to customers, clients, and other employees of 5.11.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
Pay Range: $22.00- $24.00/hr based on experience
