Verification of Benefits Specialist

Recreate Behavioral Health Network is searching for a VOB Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. We are currently beginning the talent search and vetting process. Must be very organized and an incredible multi-tasker.

He/she works with our Utilization Review team on daily tasks in the department.

Responsibilities:

• Verifying eligibility and benefits for prospective clients
• Following up on authorizations obtained
• Preparing documents for meetings, staff and clients
• Scanning, faxing, filling and mailing medical records
  
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Two years (2) of experience in an Administrative role
• Chemical Dependency experience
• Insurance Verification experience is a must
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Compassionate with team working skills
• Must be proficient in Kipu
  
  
  

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  
  
  

Experience:

• Medical Billing: 2 years (Preferred)
  
  
  

Work Location: In person
