As a Junior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure a stable and secure network for our clients. What You’ll Accomplish and Experience?

• Support daily maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and network monitoring tools
• Identify, diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime to maintain SLA
• Proactively monitor network performance to identify potential issues utilizing monitoring tools and protocols
• Assist in resolving escalated network-related issues for end-users, ensuring quick response and client satisfaction
• Oversee and assist in deployment and configuration of services
• Perform any maintenance/upgrade needed per project specification
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during implementation
• Proactively collaborate and review project plans and inventory to ensure proper equipment is on hand
• Oversee and assist in provisioning of equipment needed per project specification
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on configurations, issues and processes
• Assist in the design phase of the implementation of services, as well as acting as a point of escalation for the NOC
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software updates, ensuring seamless integration within the network environment
• Collaborate with senior team members to implement new solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and gain hands-on experience with advanced networking knowledge and tasks
• Support the service delivery team in equipment configuration and installation
• Meet with vendor and client peers to determine needs and solutions throughout the relationship lifecycle
• Required to be point of escalation for on-call responsibilities, this may include nights, weekends and holidays
• Perform all other duties as assigned
  
  

Desirable Previous Experience?

• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, and Ethernet connectivity
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies (Both line of site and non-line of site technologies)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network design, Layer-2 connectivity, Internet, MPLS, SDWAN, fiber optics, microwave transmission, wireless mesh, and secure IP networking requirements including IPSec, GRE, SSL and VPN technologies
• Strong understanding of CPE options to deliver CCR’s Product Portfolio
• Experience working with multi-vendor infrastructure
• Hands on experience developing, migrating, maintaining and troubleshooting telecom networks
