Job Description
We are seeking an experienced security leader to leadprotectiveserviceswithinour Global Security organization. This rolewillmanage a team of security professionalstooverseethesafety andsecurity of Sandisk employees and executivesacross four key functional areas – executive security, travel security, event security, and protective intelligence. This position willreport to the Chief Security Officer and willliaise closely with the head of Security Operations,members of theexecutive leadershipteam, and other key stakeholders to monitor and managethreats and proactively mitigatesecurity risks associated with travel and events.Thisrolewill serve as a trusted and strategic partner across the organization, balancingeffectiverisk management with our collaborative, innovative, and people-first culture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Leadthe executive-securityprogram, including risk assessments,executive transportation,travel-security planning, protective operations, and vendor management.
- Managetravel-related security, includingcapabilities for travel-related riskassessment, trackingofbusiness travel,employeecommunicationregarding travelrisks, andemployee support duringbusiness travel.
- Overseesecurity strategy and planning for Sandisk-hosted events andexternal eventsinvolving key Sandisk personnel, collaborating closely with the head of Security Operations regarding operational execution and staffing.
- Lead and enhanceour capabilitiesand processes relating to protective intelligence, includingresponse to external and insiderphysicalrisks,threat assessment,andpersistentPII monitoring and remediationforstaff andexecutives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, and proceduresforeffectively delivering protective servicesin a manneraligned withSandisk’sbusiness objectives, risk exposure, and regulatory requirements.
- Build, manage, anddevelop an effective protective-servicesteam,cultivating a strong performance culturethat aligns with Sandisk’s values andensuring clear roles, effective communication,andprofessional developmentacross the team.
- Outstanding ability to engage with C-suite executives and build trusted relationshipswith key stakeholdersacross all organizational levels.
- Proven track record leading high-performing protective-servicesteams with utmost discretion and strict confidentiality.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional executionskills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-cultural competency for global operations.
- Crisis leadership and sound decision-making under pressure and in ambiguous environments.
- Previous government intelligence, national security, threat analysis, law enforcement, and/or related government experiencepreferred.
- Ability and willingness to work irregular work hours to handle emergencies and off-hour security needs.
- Required to travel as needed, both domestic and international, with duration dependent on security needs.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience inenterprisesecurity, law enforcement, or military with at least3 years of experience in executive protection.
- Proven experience managingprotective-servicesteamsforpublic officials ormultinational corporations.
- Strong background inphysical and personalrisk assessment,threat intelligence,crisis management,andemergency response.
- Law enforcement and/or intelligence background preferred.
- Professional certifications (CPP, ITPM, and others) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits Details
- An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan.RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
