At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Your impact
We’re looking for a Senior Carbon Management Consultant to join our fast-growing, committed, and enthusiastic team. Ideally, we’re seeking a talented professional who is based in the United States, and align to one of our Jacobs offices, with the option to work remotely. You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this role. You will collaborate within many facets of our business and interact with the full spectrum of staff from the entry level engineers/scientists to the senior business unit leadership.
In this key role, you’ll support climate change, greenhouse gas, and carbon management projects around the globe, providing technical knowledge while helping to grow our business. Working with some of the brightest minds in environmental consulting, you’ll act as a senior technical consultant and strategist providing expertise and leadership in the form of project management, project technical consultant, regulatory subject matter expert, or senior QA/QC reviewer on climate change related projects. Through all your work, you’ll champion quality, health, and safety. Clients will see you as their go-to contact as you build meaningful relationships by solving their toughest obstacles for managing and reducing their carbon footprint or responding to physical and transitional risks from climate change, and you’ll define and lead client overall technical strategy. We’ll rely on you to present complex technical information and interpretations to clients and regulatory stakeholders in a readily understandable manner. You’ll apply your business development skills as you help to grow our business, working directly with our sales and client account management teams to help innovate and differentiate our service offerings. You’ll be the lead to understand technical client needs and provide sustainable solutions that are practical and consider the cost benefit of carbon management and GHG strategies and options. In addition, a portion of your role will include defining technical scopes and estimating levels of effort in proposals.
Bring your expertise in carbon management and desire to work on tough problems, and we’ll empower you to deliver the boldest solutions for our clients.
Here's what you'll need
The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $195,690.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
