Systems Engineer I

Option 1

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our team. This position will be located in Riverside Self-Help Center but will provide support countywide. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical problem-solver who thrives on designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex systems. In this position, you’ll play a key role in shaping the Court’s network and systems infrastructure, handling everything from architecture and analysis to implementation, administration, and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess one of the following options:

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. With major coursework in Business Systems Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field. Project Management preferred.

Experience: Three years of experience, which includes infrastructure support, system analysis, system implementation and creating technical documentation.

Option 2

Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university. With major coursework in Business Systems Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Project Management preferred.

Experience: Four years of experience, which includes infrastructure support, system analysis, system implementation and creating technical documentation.

Option 3

Education: diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Six years of experience, which includes infrastructure support, system analysis, system implementation and creating technical documentation. Technical certifications desirable.

License or Certifications: Cisco, VMware or Microsoft certifications are preferred, but not required.
