The Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in transforming clinical and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare analytics, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration

Job Requirements

Minimum Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting, or any combination of education and experience which would provide the candidate with the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.

Preferred Work Experience

Preferred proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools. Experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Strong understanding of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR, clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.

Required Licenses/Certifications

None.

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of database structures, data definitions and data relationships, including an understanding of basic information systems concepts and processes related to data definition, system integration (interfaces, etc.), software upgrades and installation, and end-user support.

Salary Range: $100,818.53-$147,108.79

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze complex clinical, operational, and financial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake or similar.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clinical and executive leadership.
  • Healthcare Data Expertise
  • Work with athena One EHR/EMR systems to extract and analyze patient care data.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy regulations.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with clinical teams, IT, finance, and operations to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Lead data-driven discussions with senior leadership to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
  • Data Governance & Integrity
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and validation processes.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Utilize statistical methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to support population health, risk stratification, and resource optimization.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and scenario modeling to support clinical decision-making.
  • Training
  • Collaboration and development of junior analyst
  • Contribute to the evolution of analytics best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
