Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract with a client in Valencia, CA. This role involves investigating product complaints and presenting performance metrics to upper management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve field issues.
Rate Range: $50/hour to 52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour

Requirements

Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Investigate product complaints and analyze field failure data to identify trends and root causes.
- Develop and present performance metrics using tools like PowerBI and Excel to upper management and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and design assurance to resolve quality issues and understand new failure modes.
- Create and validate dashboards and reports for monitoring complaint trends and product performance.
- Maintain lab equipment and train technicians on troubleshooting processes for field return samples.
- Lead and support quality system improvements, including initiating and managing CAPAs, revising procedures, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; master’s preferred.
- 2–4 years with BS, 1–2 years with MS.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and advanced Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation.
- Ability to investigate medical device field failures and analyze complaint data for trend identification.
