DESCCO Design & Construction, Inc. is seeking motivated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you'll support a variety of commercial and municipal construction projects-helping install utilities, place and finish concrete, and perform essential sitework. Our crew members are the backbone of our projects, ensuring jobs run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. This is local work only-you'll be home every night-with opportunities to earn prevailing wage pay on qualifying projects. Key Responsibilities

• Work productively and safely under the direction of a Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
• Assist in sitework and utility installation, including trenching, backfilling, compacting soils, and installing water, sewer, and storm piping.
• Perform concrete work: mix, pour, place, finish, build and strip forms.
• Handle and rig construction materials, signaling operators as needed.
• Operate and maintain small tools, pumps, compressors, and jobsite technology.
• Support carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades as required.
• Use levels, tape measures, and jobsite technology (smartphone/tablet) for layout and measurements.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work zones, including scaffolding setup and site cleanup.
• Arrive on time daily with dependable transportation and a positive attitude.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of construction or related work experience preferred (will train motivated individuals).
• Valid PA driver's license required (ability to operate company vehicles).
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs., bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing site needs.
• Basic math and measurement skills for layout and recording dimensions.
