Role
Lockton Northeast People Solutions is seeking a Data Informatics Analyst to support the Health Risk Solutions (HRS) specialty practice in providing impactful, high quality data visualizations and custom reports to clients and client teams. The HRS practice provides expertise in health informatics, population health programming, and disease management solutions for employers.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our client service teams and external partners to gather and summarize disparate data for regular updates to client-facing dashboards. Preference will be given to candidates with experience querying databases (SQL, SSMS) and creating data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, possess the ability to work well both in team and individual capacities, and the flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities.
This is position supports the Northeast Series of Lockton Companies with offices in major metropolitan areas between Maine and D.C. This role will report to the Data Informatics Leader in Boston.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with HRS consultants, data analytics team, and client service teams across the Northeast Series to collect and combine data from multiple sources to develop and maintain reporting data sources
- Maintain client-facing dashboards and run ad hoc reports to help our clients manage their health plans and well-being programs
- Review reports created by yourself or a team member for accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement
- Alongside the HRS team, participate in needs assessments for new projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines
- Attend and participate in internal and external remote and in-person meetings, as required.
- Comply with all applicable organizational and regulatory policies, such as HIPAA, HITECH
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- 2 years of professional experience working in an analytical role
- 1-2 years of experience creating reports using data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Intermediate proficiency querying relational databases using SQL
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Desire to learn new skills and seek out solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be legally able to work in the United States, without company sponsorship
- Previous insurance brokerage, health insurance, population health analytics, or well-being vendor experience preferred
