About the Role
The HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring a smooth employee experience. This hybrid role, based in Kirkland, WA, works closely with our People Operations Manager and our HR partner via our HRIS to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and compliance across multiple states.
This position is responsible for handling administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, maintaining employee records, coordinating HR processes, and assisting with benefits administration. The HR Administrator serves as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, working closely with the HR team and external partners to keep processes running efficiently.

This position is responsible for handling administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, maintaining employee records, coordinating HR processes, and assisting with benefits administration. The HR Administrator serves as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, working closely with the HR team and external partners to keep processes running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies across multiple states.
- Administer employee benefits and 401(k) programs, coordinating with our HRIS partner.
- Coordinate the performance review process and track completion.
- Support onboarding of new hires and manage offboarding/terminations.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook.
- Assist with employee relations, documenting and escalating issues as needed.
- Organize morale and engagement initiatives, including administering OHI surveys.
- Provide recruitment support (job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- Strong writing and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in HR, Business Admin, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP preferred but not necessary.
- Discretion handling confidential information.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in follow-through.
