Job Summary:
The Retail Operations Assistant works closely with ownership and management to help guide and oversee daily operations of the retail store. This hands-on position includes merchandising, ordering, inventory management, quality control, customer service and personnel oversight.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1-2 years of supervisory experience in a retail setting required
Proven ability to lead coworkers in completing tasks and assignments
Excellent merchandising and display skills
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and the ability to mange multiple tasks effectively
Excellent time management, communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
Availability to work weekends and adjust hours seasonally
Produce or Garden Center experience a plus
1-2 years product ordering experience a plus
Job Summary:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting the Retail Operations Manager in daily store operations
- Checking in freight and ensuring quality control standards are met
- Merchandising and working displays and seasonal resets
- Supervising, training and organizing retail staff
- Resolving quality control issues and implementing effective solutions
- Overseeing closing duties and preparation of the store for the next day
- Providing exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Managing customer concerns and issues with a solution-oriented approach
- Working a typical shift of 10am-7pm
- Overtime opportunities available
