The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting month end closing activities. This role is critical in maintaining positive vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting plus minimum of three years of accounts payable experience or 5 years of accounts payable experience.
Skills and Experience:
This role pays between $105,000 and $125,000 per year, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.

The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting month end closing activities. This role is critical in maintaining positive vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner including ensuring all invoices are properly coded and approved according to company policies
- Reviews and processes approved expense reports in Concur ensuring all expenses are properly supported and within company policy in an accurate and timely manner.
- Reconciles vendor statements and follows up with discrepancies
- Supports the monthly close process by:
- reconciling accounts payable and related accrual accounts
- providing accruals for outstanding invoices and open expense reports
- reviewing any system generated accruals for goods received not invoiced and follows up on outstanding items
- Maintains accurate records and documentation
- Prepare annual filings for Form 1099 and Form 3921 tax requirements.
- Assists with audit
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, polices, work procedures and instructions.
- Communicates with coworkers, management and others in a timely and professional manner
Education and Training:

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience processing transactions in NetSuite and Concur
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with personnel at various levels while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
