Production Operations Manager / Grand Prairie, TX

Overview

You will be a Production Operations Manager for the Precision Fires programs within the Tactical Missiles Line of Business at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. Our team is responsible for managing all program aspects related to Production Operations and manufacturing, with an emphasis on design for producibility and positioning products for full life cycle success. We're looking for a highly experienced and skilled leader to join our team and serve as the deputy to the Prod-Ops Sr Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Production Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the achievement of the most producible solutions for our customers, and delivering scalable manufacturing solutions to future production teams and Lines of Business. You will manage and lead Precision Fires programs production, development, or international scope, as well as activities including cost, schedule, and quality, for multiple manufacturing sites, engineer labs, IRAD efforts, and multiple external suppliers.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing and leading Precision Fires programs production, development, or international scope
• Leading and driving the achievement of the most producible solutions for customers
• Delivering scalable manufacturing solutions to future production teams and Lines of Business
• Managing cost, schedule, and quality for multiple manufacturing sites, engineer labs, IRAD efforts, and multiple external suppliers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful production outcomes
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Serving as the deputy to the Prod-Ops Sr Manager and providing support and guidance to the production operations team
