About the Job

Our client is a leading Orthopedics Medical Device company.

Location: Midwest region (specific locations to be determined)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Specialist to join a dynamic team. As a key member of the technical support group, you will play a crucial role in training and educating surgeons and sales representatives on our extensive forefoot product portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of surgical techniques and patient care in the foot and ankle space.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for surgeons and sales representatives on the proper use and application of our forefoot product line.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal product utilization and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop educational materials and resources tailored to the needs of surgeons and sales representatives.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of regional training events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our forefoot product portfolio, addressing technical inquiries and providing solutions as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and surgical techniques related to foot and ankle surgeries.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Engineering) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or clinical education role within the medical device industry, preferably in foot and ankle orthopedics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs and presentations.
  • Ability to travel within the Midwest region as needed (approximately 50% travel expected).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with orthopedic surgeons in a clinical setting.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the medical device industry.
