Responsibilities
- Manage multiple machines at same time
- Operate CNC machines and run proficiently
- Oversee set up and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills
- Education/Certification
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 6 years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 5 years of CNC experience or journeymen machinist.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints.
- Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances.
- Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques.
- Capacity to understand and follow through with verbal or written instructions. Good understanding of shop math.
- Proficient with interpersonal relations, organization and communication skills.
- CNC Lathe and/or Mills
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Standing for 8+ hours per day.
- Visual Acuity: Close vision, color vision
- Work Conditions: Worker is subject to noise, vibration, coolants, and oils.
