This position will be reporting into the CTO and will be working closely with a fast-moving team delivering next generation legged robotic solutions to our customers worldwide.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing advanced sensor and payload solutions for complex industrial applications. From initial concept to field deployment, you'll have a hand in prototyping, testing, and refining technologies that make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Software, Math, Physics, Electrical or related field required.
Location
Philadelphia, PA (no remote candidates considered at this time).
Travel
20-30% Domestic and International Travel

Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test sensors and payloads that meet technical and customer requirements
- Analyze test results and feedback to iterate and improve system performance
- Develop integrated hardware-software solutions for complex industrial applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Interpret standards and certifications, and support documentation for approvals
- Provide technical support during customer meetings and site visits
- Contribute to design reviews, project updates, and post-project evaluations
- Create clear technical documentation, manuals, and reports
- Maintain accurate system records, schematics, and testing protocols
- A strong foundation in engineering principles and system-level thinking.
- Experience with sensor integration, embedded systems, or payload development.
- Practical knowledge of testing methods, documentation practices, and certification processes.
- Comfort working cross-functionally in an iterative, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating technical details for diverse audiences.
- A self-starter mindset with a drive to own and improve your work.
- 2+ years experience at an established integration firm, consultancy or product company or equivalent experience in a lab or research environment.
- Python, Java, or C/C++ programming skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and integration with some third-party API or SDK into a project
- Familiarity with Unix and shell scripting.
- Basic understanding of electronics or mechatronics to electrically connect sensors, actuators, or payloads.
- Experience and comfortability partnering and communicating with customers and vendors.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working with robotics or complex mechatronic systems
- Experience with machine learning using frameworks such as PyTorch, tensorFlow, etc.
- Familiarity with common models for object recognition.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Software, Math, Physics, Electrical or related field required.
