As a Training & Engagement Manager , you’ll work under the leadership of the SVP, CPO to design, implement, deliver, and oversee talent development strategies and programs that aligns with the credit union’s strategic goals. Now Hiring: Training & Engagement Manager
As a Training & Engagement Manager , you’ll work under the leadership of the SVP, CPO to design, implement, deliver, and oversee talent development strategies and programs that aligns with the credit union’s strategic goals. This role leads training and development initiatives across the organization, aligns learning solutions with business goals and fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. This individual should excel at building relationships, is a thought leader in training and engagement, is confident and energetic in a classroom setting, is familiar with needs assessments, and has a passion for learning and career development.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and develop high-quality talent development programs utilizing BVS and ADP learning platforms to ensure each employee has the knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver exceptional member service, adhere to regulatory standards, and grow professionally.
- Manage new hire onboarding program and facilitate quality training programs for each new hire.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads and key stakeholders to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Participate in the strategy, design, and execution of company-wide learning and development programs to ensure a robust pipeline of high-potential leaders.
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify high-potential leaders and design personalized development plans.
- Assess organizational learning needs through surveys, interviews, performance metrics, and collaboration with leaders and Human Resource Generalists.
- Oversee stay interviews, GPTW strategies, and other employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver engaging training content through various modalities (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning, blended).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and performance outcomes; recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop role-specific competency models, career pathing frameworks, and development plans.
- Coach managers and employees on performance development, growth conversations, and internal mobility.
- Identify and partner with external vendors for specialized training and development services when needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or learning and development, preferably in a financial institution or credit union.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating leadership and employee development programs.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies.
- Experience with LMS platforms such as BVS and training evaluation methodologies
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and requirements that impact credit unions.
- Excellent project management skills. Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; can work within deadlines and prioritize multiple, detailed tasks.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve training outcomes.
- Ability & willingness to travel among Jeanne D’Arc locations in MA and NH.
