The Firearm Compliance Associate allows for the opportunity to explore career options and develop personal and professional skills. Selected candidate will be exposed to the federal audit processes, guidelines and responsibilities associated with firearm regulations.

The Firearm Compliance Associate allows for the opportunity to explore career options and develop personal and professional skills. Selected candidate will be exposed to the federal audit processes, guidelines and responsibilities associated with firearm regulations.
Responsibilities
- Heavy data entry (90%)
- Reading PDF files, handwritten logs and inputting into Excel
- Renaming/re-filing electronic files
- Use of multiple government databases (federal and state)
- Maintaining compliance with federal firearms laws
- Completing Firearm Traces
- Maintaining multiple confidential personnel worksheets
- PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat Reader
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to multitask a wide variety of tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- High school,
- Technical or vocational school,
- A 2-year or 4-year college or university, or
- A graduate or professional school
- Firearms knowledge/experience preferred, but not required
- Able to pass a federal background check
