We're Hiring: Pipefitter!

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pipefitter for immediate work in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have marine, industrial or military experience and be capable of performing pipefitting tasks aboard naval ships. Recently separated or retired military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and install pipe systems, pipe supports and associated hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Work with piping systems for heating, cooling and ventilation.
• Performing brazing and work with carbon steel, cylinders and various shipboard piping components.
• Operate in confined spaces and various physical positions as required by shipyard conditions.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of pipefitting experience in marine, industrial or military environments.
• Proven experience working on ship piping systems.
• Worked with pipes for heating and cooling and worked on ventilation.
• Proficient in brazing and handling materials like pipe, carbon steel and cylinders.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks which include standing long, carrying heavy objects, bending, stooping, etc.
