Description
Technical Support: ? Provide Tier 2/3 support for clinical, dental, and behavioral health staff using EHR systems. ? Troubleshoot and resolve application and workflow issues, escalating as necessary. ? Maintain diagnostic imaging integrations with Dexis and ensure compatibility with Cerner workflows.
Training and Documentation: ? Deliver EHR training for new hires and ongoing education for existing staff. ? Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledgebase documentation. ? Lead system orientations during onboarding and during system changes or upgrades.
Workflow Optimization and Reporting: ? Collaborate with department leads to streamline clinical and dental workflows within EHR systems. ? Analyze user needs and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency. ? Develop and run system reports to support clinical, operational, and compliance needs. Project Implementation and Support: ? Participate in EHR implementation projects and system expansions. Assist in change management and communication during system rollouts or transitions. ? Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives through data and systems analysis.
Hardware Integration (Dental Imaging): ? Support integration and maintenance of dental diagnostic hardware (e.g., digital X-rays, intraoral cameras). ? Troubleshoot hardware-software compatibility issues related to Dexis and Dentrix.
- POSITION SUMMARY The EHR Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of electronic health record (EHR) systems used across First Choice Community Healthcare, including Dexis, Dentrix, and Cerner. This role ensures effective system functionality, supports end-users, troubleshoots issues, and implements upgrades and optimizations. The administrator serves as the primary liaison between IT and clinical/dental/behavioral health departments for EHR-related matters.
