We're Hiring: Deck Electrician!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deck Electrician to join our team in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly within the marine industry, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Role: Deck Electrician

What You'll Do

• Work independently from drawings, schematics, and work packages.
• Install and terminate shipboard cables and equipment.
• Mount and hook up electrical components and wireways.
• Perform cut-ins, cable penetrations and hook-ups.
• Follow shipyard safety protocols and electrical standards.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3 or more years of experience in industrial, marine, or commercial nuclear electrical work.
• Must be able to read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics and work packages.
• Physically able to climb vertical and inclined stairs and ladders, crawl, bend, stoop.
• Physically able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must pass the Stud Shooting training class and the associated vision test.
