myhousr is an innovative app designed to connect students with the local community, and we’re here to make student living easier and more exciting! We’ve just launched, and now we’re growing our property listings to help students find the perfect accommodation. Whether it’s off-campus housing, student apartments, or rental properties, we’re looking for the right person to sign up property owners and landlords who want to connect with the student market in Lincoln.

The Role

As our Account Manager / Customer Success Manager (PropertyOperator), your goal is to grow our property listings by showing landlords and student housing providers how myhousr can help them reach Lincoln’s large student population. You help our property operators turn every qualified inquiry into a signed student lease. Taking charge of your own portfolio, you’ll guide leasing teams, track the numbers and keep conversion rates high. When results dip, you try straightforward ideas -text follow-ups, referral perks, local promos -to spark progress.

Where We’re Based

Our small, but growing team, is currently based out of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (Innovation Campus). As we’re an office-based team, we’re seeking someone who lives a commutable distance from the area.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of propertyoperators from sales hand-off through renewal, serving as their single point of contact.
  • Leveraging solution-focused sales skills to obtain new propertyoperators and grow the portfolio
  • Building deep working relationships with local propertyoperators to foster true partnership
  • Driving performance: track daily lead pipelines, run weekly check-ins, and ensure student tours convert to leases
  • Holding partners accountable with clear, timely feedback and prompt follow-up on every lead.
  • Presenting metric-driven business reviews that translate data into concrete next steps.
  • Testing new tactics - messaging cadences, referral incentives, local events - to reach our revenue goals
  • Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to solve issues fast and refine processes.
  • Documenting and improving playbooks so wins scale across the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a client-facing, relationship-focused, B2B role (i.e. Customer Success or Account Management),
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly and pushes for action when deadlines loom.
  • Data-oriented operator: you read funnels, spot bottlenecks, and turn numbers into action.
  • Startup mindset: comfortable bringing order to ambiguity in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
  • Tool-savvy: confident with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce etc) and Excel/Sheets.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience with general housing or student housing would be highly advantageous.

What’s On Offer

  • Salary package: Base salary of $60,000 with an uncapped OTE (uncapped commission, with unlimited growth potential)

Interview Process

  • First Stage - Exploratory screening call with our Talent Partner (30 mins)
  • Second Stage - Video call with our President (Craig) and Sr Operations Manager (Ron)
  • Third Stage - We’ll set you a take home task, requiring no more than 2hrs of your time. We’ll make it fun, we promise. We’d then like you to present your task to Craig, Ron and our COO (Nick) during a F2F meet:
    • Part 1 - A chance for you to walk through your take-home task and for us to ask questions (30 mins)
    • Part 2 - Wider ranging questions about your experiences and motivations for working at myhousr, approaches to certain scenarios, working style and what you’ll bring to this role (30 mins)
  • Final Stage - A 30 min video call with our CEO (Harry)
  • Offer - If we think it’s a good fit, we’ll make you an offer!
