Shift: Flexible 1st shift 7:30 pm to 5 pm
Job Summary:
The Transplant Community Outreach Program Manager works in collaboration with referring providers and community partners to foster growth and development of the solid organ transplant (SOT) service line through business development and outreach activities and to promote awareness and understanding of the donation and transplant processes. This includes visiting referring physicians and dialysis centers to interact with staff and patients, and collaborating with community health facilities, third party payers, and transplant surgeons to educate, inform, and promote the transplant program and organ donation. The Program Manager collaborates with SOT service line leadership to utilize market and demographic data to identify outreach opportunities and to engage with the community.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in transplant, living donation, dialysis or organ donation is required.
Experience In Outreach And Marketing Experience Is Preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in building relationships within diverse communities preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or marketing field required. A combination of education and experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
A Master's degree in business or healthcare field strongly preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with a variety of people and personalities, and ability to embrace diversity.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Expert working knowledge of computers and a variety of computer programs, including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and statistical analysis software.
Proven analytical skills.
Knowledge and ability to apply practices and principles utilized in quantitative and qualitative marketing research.
Ability to perform above duties with limited supervision utilizing knowledge and experience for independent decision-making.
