About the Job

Summary: Responsible for overseeing the global consolidated financial reporting for the company’s domestic and international operations and will lead the company’s timely and accurate worldwide financial reporting process, both to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties:

  • Timely completion of the monthly world-wide financial consolidation process in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead research and interpretation of GAAP and other authoritative guidance. Monitor changes in GAAP, develop new accounting policies and recommend actions as needed to ensure compliance with new pronouncements.
  • Oversee and maintain proper system of internal controls over the financial reporting process. Identify and recommend improvement as necessary.
  • Financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders (including FP&A and Treasury functions)
  • Ownership of global consolidation reporting within Oracle EPM system
  • Partner with tax and international teams on transfer pricing and intercompany profit eliminations
  • Partner with Accounting Managers to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to standardize processes, integrate multiple business/regulatory requirements, and extend information availability within financial reporting systems. Promote the sharing of best practices within the local organization.
  • Review and analyze intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial consolidation systems and processes.
  • Direct Oracle FCCS administrator and others as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, specifically global consolidations and foreign currency translation.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM specifically FCCS, ERP systems and financial consolidation modules, such as, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
  • CPA, CMA or other appropriate certification preferred.
  • Previous work experience in accounting/finance in a multi-unit domestic and foreign company preferred.
