Systems Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineer to join our remote team and help drive innovation across enterprise infrastructure technologies, including networking, Linux, Microsoft, and storage systems. In this full-time role, you’ll be involved in every stage of systems development and production—from designing new features to integrating and deploying complex solutions in virtualized environments. You'll have direct access to the codebase to troubleshoot and enhance our products, making a real impact on performance, scalability, and automation. Duties:

• Design and deliver systems to enhance product features, availability, scalability, and performance.
• Solve critical issues related to mission-critical services and automate responses to non-exceptional events.
• Participate in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Engage in periodic on-call duties and travel up to 10% to company HQ.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience with Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible, and strong experience with databases like DB2, MSSQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, and MongoDB.
• Advanced knowledge of server virtualization technology (VMware, cloud infrastructure) and Linux/Unix scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and system administration skills, with experience in backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Spectrum Protect, TSM, Networker, NetBackup, BackupExec, Commvault).
  
  

Salary: $85,00 - $115,000 + Bonus
