Role Overview

Could you be our next Corporate Recruiter?Globe Life is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt corporate roles, including college/university recruiting. The Corporate Recruiter owns the candidate experience including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, while managing all stages of the employment process in the applicant tracking system. E nsuring recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes are aligned with business needs, talent strategy and desired employee capabilities/skills. This position reports directly to the Corporate Recruiting Manager.

This is a remote / work from home position.

What You Will Do

  • Serves as the Lead recruiter partnering with the business leaders and HRBP team on identifying openings, meeting metrics, and driving process improvements to meet overall business objectives.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Consults with business leaders and HRBP team on talent related strategies and initiatives throughout the course of a search to influence decisions regarding recruitment strategy, profile development, assessment methods and final selection.
  • Actively participates in the workforce planning process in partnership with the HRBP.
  • Develops relationships with hiring managers/supervisors to ensure successful fulfillment of talent needs.
  • Support and guide the internal recruiting process.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert regarding the talent acquisition process to include onboarding.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert regarding the HR Operations process as it relates to Talent Acquisition.
  • Develops and coordinates internal and external job postings.
  • Develops recruitment strategies to proactively source and recruit the right talent.
  • Researches, recommends, and implements recruiting techniques as needed.
  • Reviews and screens applications/resumes and phone interviews candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Provides information regarding the organization and the position.
  • Schedules candidates for pre-employment testing and arranging interviews with the hiring manager.
  • Coordinates pre-employment testing, background/reference checks and scheduling drug screens.
  • Updates the Applicant Tracking System throughout the candidate lifecycle.
  • Supports New Hire Orientation and Onboarding.
  • Provides weekly open requisition updates to hiring manager and Talent Management leadership.
  • Works closely with the Hiring Manager and the HR Business Partner in writing and developing job descriptions and identifying competencies as needed.
  • Engages the HRBP team and functional leaders to identify skill gaps within the business.
  • Gathers and leverage market insights to influence business decisions and identify linkages to the strategic direction of the organization and/or department.
  • Networks with external and internal organizations to build mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
  • Develops, maintains, and communicates a broad understanding of the external market, and how it may influence Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Performs all administrative duties as it relates to talent attraction, engagement, acquisition, and onboarding.
  • Drives a positive candidate experience to ensure engagement throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in Talent Management & Recruitment projects, programs, and events as needed.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as needed.

What You Can Bring

  • College Degree with emphasis in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience in a Human Resource environment.
  • Sales background helpful, but not required.
  • Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization.
  • Proven strategic experience in full lifecycle recruiting within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with candidates and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple open positions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong sourcing skills including sourcing of passive talent.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Workday experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, remaining adaptable and resilient.
  • Advanced executive level communication skills.
  • Advanced level presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate data findings to key stakeholders.
