The ideal candidate will be experienced in processing/trimming cannabis, have an understanding of the differences in flower structure among multiple cultivars, and work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail. The Harvest Lead will be reporting to the Harvest Manager & the Harvest Supervisor for all daily tasks.

The Harvest Lead will be reporting to the Harvest Manager & the Harvest Supervisor for all daily tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Setup processing room at beginning of day - ensure stock of all tools/materials (gloves, bins, trim trays, trash bags, isopropyl alcohol, and microfiber towels, unlocking freezers and safety exits)
- Collect all processed flower into bin with package tag, input accurate data entry of bin/flower weights and package METRC tags following the SOP
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics ERP for inventory tracking in conjunction with METRC
- Update internal productivity sheets throughout the day pulling accurate date from METRC and Dynamics
- Collect and dispose of all green waste from technicians throughout the day
- Quality control checks of flowers being processed, ensuring technicians are processing for the correct product type - following the SOP for appropriate flower size, trichome coverage, and handling of plants
- Train employees on trim technique to optimize efficiency and maintain trichome integrity
- Monitor Productivity/Performance & provide employee feedback
- Place packaged bins in walk-in freezer, organize bins(grouping per cultivar and harvest group) for manufacturing
- Following strict biosecurity protocols, maintaining sanitation of tools and person
- Ensuring METRC tags are removed from individual plants, labeled, and stored for compliance according to the SOP
- Effective communication with the Harvest Manager/Supervisor - regarding labor needs, workflow management, materials/supplies, employee issues/complaints
- Promote Positive team culture
- Any other task assigned by the Harvest Manager/Supervisor
- For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday.
- Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Pay Range: $23.00-$24.00/hour
- Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
