Overview

The Circularity and Recycling Program Manager serves as a subject matter expert for recycling, circularity, and zero-waste program execution, with a primary focus on the Microsoft Cloud program. This functional role manages program data, evaluates recycler and operational performance, strengthens documentation and reporting processes, and helps build a scalable circularity program that advances Microsoft's net-zero waste objectives while aligning with AIT's broader sustainability strategy.

Responsibilities

• Recycling Program Management and SME Support: Serve as the working subject matter expert for recycling and circularity requirements, including recycler documentation, certificates, material handling, diversion methods and evidence standards.
• Data Management, Reporting and Analytics: Maintain and improve program datasets, validate recycler and load-level data, track diversion and efficiency metrics, identify trends and prepare dashboards or summaries for leadership and customer review.
• Net Zero Waste and Circularity Roadmap: Evaluate current state performance and develop practical action plans that support progress toward Microsoft net zero waste goals, including improved material segregation, recycler validation and documentation quality.
• Recycler, Vendor and Operations Collaboration: Engage recyclers and operations teams to obtain required documentation, understand processing methods, confirm efficiencies, resolve data gaps and standardize expectations across regions.
• Audit Readiness, Training and Continuous Improvement: Support audit preparation, root cause analysis, training materials, SOP updates and corrective action tracking to improve long- term program reliability.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• The wage range for this position is $92,700.00-$139,060.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of relevant work experience supply chain management, data analytics, or equivalent required or (required) or
• Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business or related field (required)
  
  

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in recycling, waste management, circularity, sustainability programs, environmental reporting, logistics operations or ESG data management (required)
• Experience with zero waste, recycling vendors, material recovery, waste diversion calculations, customer sustainability programs or audit documentation (preferred)
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of recycling, circularity, waste diversion, zero waste principles and related documentation practices High
• Strong data management and analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar tools High
• Ability to evaluate recycler performance, documentation quality and program-level risks High
• Strong project management skills with clear ownership of open items and deadlines Medium
• Ability to collaborate with recyclers, operations, regional leads and customer-facing stakeholders High
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with passion for sustainability and making processes better High
