• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in program management and strategy development within an organization.
• Experience working in the energy industry, navigating external affairs, messaging strategy, and event strategy.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Deep familiarity with and practical experience working energy issues, including regional policy, markets, and technology.
• proven ability to translate complex energy topics for non-technical audiences and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to build strong relationships and lead successful programs across large, matrixed organizations.
• Excellent creative problem-solving skills with the ability to confidently execute and grow in environments characterized by ambiguity and uncertainty.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Influence the external energy ecosystem to enable Google to secure energy capacity and deliver sustainable growth.
• Regionalize Google's global energy external affairs strategy in priority markets to address critical regional energy priorities.
• Shape and advance the company's external narratives on key issues, including energy affordability, grid reliability, and carbon-free energy.
• Develop robust stakeholder engagement strategies, raise awareness of Google's approach and drive major external activations such as industry announcements.
• Act as a collaborative leader, working with a broad set of cross-functional teams and external partners to bring complex projects from concept to completion.
