Overview

Senior Network Engineer with hands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise LAN/WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and Cisco data center networks across 140+ U.S. and Greater China sites, including production and DR environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and support Cisco LAN/WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, ACI, data center, cloud networking, and hybrid connectivity environments.
  • Implement and troubleshoot BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, VSS, QoS, IPsec, MPLS, VPLS, DMVPN, Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, VPN, and cloud routing technologies.
  • Perform network rollout, capacity planning, performance tuning, configuration standardization, software upgrades, lifecycle refresh, and HA validation.
  • Analyze complex incidents using packet captures, monitoring platforms, logs, flow data, and configuration reviews to isolate root cause and restore service.
  • Administer SolarWinds IPAM/NCM, Splunk, ExtraHop, vulnerability management platforms, and configuration backup controls.
  • Create network diagrams, implementation plans, test plans, runbooks, audit evidence, and technical standards; provide Tier 2 support and mentor junior engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Experience with Cisco routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, wireless controllers, Cisco ACI, multi-site data centers, and production/DR architectures.
  • Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 knowledge, including routing design, route filtering/redistribution, segmentation, ACLs, NAT, firewall integration, Radius/TACACS+, and authentication.
  • Working knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, VPLS, DMVPN, IPsec VPN, QoS, cloud interconnect, hybrid cloud routing, branch connectivity, carrier circuits, and global WAN design.
  • Experience with Cisco UCS, SAN/NAS connectivity, virtualization, Windows/Linux/Unix, VoIP/SIP, packet analysis, monitoring, logging, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Proficient in Visio diagrams, technical documentation, implementation planning, change control, troubleshooting procedures, and operational handoff.
  • Cisco data center, routing/switching, wireless, cloud networking, or public cloud certifications preferred.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
