## About the Role

EXL Analytics is seeking a **Data Analyst** to support data-driven business solutions using **SAS and SQL**. The role involves analytical problem-solving, client engagement, and working with teams across different locations and cultures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience with SAS and SQL, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work directly with clients in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.

This is a **hybrid position based in New York, NY**.

## Key Responsibilities

* Apply **SAS and SQL** skills to analyze data and support business and analytics initiatives.

* Use analytical techniques to understand business problems and develop data-driven insights.

* Work directly with clients and manage client-facing engagements.

* Collaborate effectively across dual-shore teams and global stakeholders.

* Communicate analytical findings and business insights clearly to clients and internal teams.

* Work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across global locations.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Analytics**, or a related field.

* Candidates with BA/BS degrees in relevant fields from top-tier academic institutions are also encouraged to apply.

* **2+ years of relevant professional experience with SAS and SQL**.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Experience working directly with clients.

* Experience working in **dual-shore engagements**.

* Strong record of achievement and a hands-on approach to work.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
