Recruiter I
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter III to support talent acquisition and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will have strong agency and/or in-house recruiting experience, excellent candidate sourcing, interviewing, and pipeline management skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple recruiting priorities.
- Utilize computer databases, internet recruiting resources, job boards, and cold calling to source qualified candidates.
- Interview applicants to obtain information regarding work history, training, education, qualifications, and job skills.
- Conduct candidate screening and selection activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate employment records and candidate records.
- Contact applicants regarding employment opportunities, consideration, selection, and next steps.
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, job opportunities, and career opportunities.
- Support candidate pipeline management and the conversion-to-offer process.
- Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand hiring requirements.
- Maintain strong candidate and hiring-manager relationships throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage multiple recruiting activities while maintaining strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Follow applicable legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and work-related activities.
- Utilize MS Word and MS Excel and recruiting databases to maintain accurate information and support recruitment activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent training required.
- Recruitment experience in either agency or in-house/corporate recruiting required.
- Typically 2-4 years of recruiting or customer service-related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise moderate independent judgment.
- Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices.
- Basic knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, and training principles.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
- Previous experience with MS Word and Excel.
