Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Networking Specialist / Cloud Network Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking and enterprise infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, implement, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize scalable cloud and hybrid networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement GCP VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
• Configure and manage Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud VPN, and Cloud Interconnect.
• Build and support secure hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, routing, and firewall issues.
• Support GKE/Kubernetes networking, ingress/egress controls, network policies, and service mesh environments.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Implement cloud network security, IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, SRE, security, and application engineering teams.
• Optimize network performance, reliability, availability, scalability, and cost.
• Develop network architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP networking services.
• Expertise in:
• VPC architecture and network segmentation
• Cloud DNS and Cloud Load Balancing
• Cloud NAT
• Cloud VPN and Cloud Interconnect
• Firewall and security policies
• Routing and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Strong Terraform and infrastructure automation experience.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes/GKE networking.
• Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with network monitoring, observability, and performance analysis.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or Cloudflare technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  
  

Nice to Have

• GKE, service mesh, and container networking.
• Cloud security and Zero Trust architectures.
• AI infrastructure networking, including Vertex AI and GPU environments.
• Large-scale distributed cloud networking.
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
