Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking an Engineer, Network to join our client's Enterprise Network / IT team. This role will be responsible for evaluating, designing, testing, and implementing enterprise network solutions while serving as a senior escalation point for complex network issues. The position will partner closely with infrastructure, data center, application, workplace, identity, regional IT teams, vendors, and global counterparts to develop scalable, repeatable network solutions.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity based in Irving, Texas. The position is 100% on-site, 5 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior network engineer who enjoys project-based work, emerging technology, proof of concepts, and influencing enterprise network strategy rather than focusing primarily on day-to-day ticket support.

Key responsibilities include:

Research and evaluate new network technologies and recommend solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Design, implement, document, and maintain enterprise network solutions, standards, and architecture.
Lead network projects, new builds, technology implementations, proof of concepts, and pilot programs.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and serve as a final escalation point for routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and connectivity issues.
Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, application, data center, workplace, identity, regional IT teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
Develop repeatable technical solutions and successfully hand them off to regional teams for broader deployment.

Required Skills and Background:

8-10+ years of network engineering experience in complex enterprise environments.
Active CCNP certification required.
Strong experience with enterprise routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE technologies.
Strong knowledge of technologies including Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto NGFW, Infoblox DDI, Cisco ASA/ISR/ASR, Catalyst/Nexus, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS, and network monitoring.
Extensive experience troubleshooting global, multi-site, highly available network environments.
Proven experience leading technical projects, evaluating new technologies, and running proof of concepts or pilots.
Ability to independently research unfamiliar technologies and provide clear technical recommendations.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SASE, Zero Trust Network Architecture, cloud networking, and emerging enterprise network technologies.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, network integrations, or infrastructure modernization.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-management skills.
Team-oriented, humble, resourceful, and comfortable engaging internal experts, vendors, or partners when needed.
