Director, Program Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director Program Operations to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Aerospace & Defense environment.

Location: Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $203,165 – $284,430 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the operations program execution strategy for TeraWave
• Define program health visibility across subassembly operations
• Lead the subassembly operations performance and oversee execution
• Drive the production scheduling function and ensure alignment with program priorities
• Manage configuration management processes for product lifecycle
• Lead customer terminal operations for build execution and scheduling
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations program management in complex production environments
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-functional teams
• Proven track record in program execution and schedule management
• Deep understanding of BOM and configuration management fundamentals
• Experience in driving long-lead component risk strategies
• Strong executive presence for presenting to senior leadership
• BA/BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent
