Description

We're seeking two experienced Mechanical Engineers to support the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced defense and aerospace technologies. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment focused on high-performance hardware for ground, air, maritime, and space applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, integrate, and test complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, and opto-mechanical systems
• Support projects from concept through fabrication, integration, testing, and field evaluation
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on advanced technology development
• Contribute to hardware involving structures, mechanisms, thermal systems, optics, and electronics
• Present technical progress and results to internal stakeholders
• Travel occasionally to meetings and field sites as needed
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Bachelor's with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 3+ years
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering and mechanical design experience
• Experience designing, assembling, and testing high-reliability mechanical or electro-mechanical systems for defense, aerospace, or DoD programs
• Minimum 5 years of SolidWorks 3D CAD experience
• Experience with electronic packaging and complex mechanical systems
• Active Top Secret security clearance required at the start of employment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with opto-mechanical systems
• Spacecraft or aircraft hardware development
• Mechanism design
• Additional experience supporting DoD or aerospace programs
