Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and test of all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

What’s the Job?

• Provide mechanical machine design including, but not limited to sizing and selecting all mechanical components, completing bills of materials (BOMs), and maintain up-to-date maintenance and technical documentation (manuals).
• Designs products such as machines, instruments, controls, or robots.
• Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.
• Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software (i.e. AutoCAD, inventor or equivalent).
• Experience with equipment and plant layout design.
• Experience with pneumatic system design and documentation.
