Social Media Manager

Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC are looking for an energetic, vocal, and trend-setting voice to lead the brand of both clubs on all digital platforms, as well as be an integral part of the organization's marketing efforts within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Marketing with FMFC theme night ideation and execution
• Lead the execution of Forward Madison FC, Rally Madison FC, and Breese Stevens Field social media accounts daily.
• Be the voice of Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC on home and away match days.
• Create and implement a social schedule that engages current fans and builds new ones.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep the club at the forefront of digital engagement.
• Respond to messages on social media accounts and work with the respective department to provide answers to any questions.
• Collaborate with players, coaches, and other team personnel on content creation.
• Work closely with the sponsorship team to meet partner obligations on social media.
• Create and identify media opportunities to maximize local and national exposure for the organization.
• Assist the Director of Marketing with news articles, player features, and press releases.
• Collaborate with the ticket sales department to develop a clear schedule and standard for sales-related social content.
• Use insights to refine creative strategy, audience segmentation, and content performance.
• Provide regular reporting that evaluates the value and impact of social media content in relation to current and prospective corporate partners.
• Identify collaboration opportunities with creators and influencers to represent the Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC brand.
  
  

Requirements

• This position is expected to work all Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC home and away matches and special events.
• Stadium work is part of the gig - this could include tasks such as painting, hanging signs, cleaning grandstands, picking up garbage, bagging ice, raking, sweeping, and many other outdoor tasks.
• Accept and abide by all terms of the Forward Madison FC Handbook.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong written skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Confident to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player who is willing to own projects
• Experience with Photoshop and other design tools
• Four-year bachelor's degree
