What You Will Learn

L'Oréal USA is seeking a creative, organized and effective 12-Month Intern to join the Corporate Brand & Engagement team within Corporate Affairs & Engagement (CA&E), responsible for the external positioning of L’Oréal Groupe in the US. Reporting directly to the AVP, Head of US Corporate Brand & Engagement, you will be a meaningful, active contributor to our agile team—not a passive observer. Through hands-on project ownership, you will gain exposure to modern corporate brand engagement, marketing and communications. You will assist in the development of multi-channel storytelling, manage ad assets, help coordinate high-profile activations and analyze campaign metrics that drive US reputation for the world’s leading beauty company.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is best fit for a thoughtful, energetic self-starter who is passionate about beauty, culture, marketing and communications. You should be interested in closely collaborating with team members on the creation of paid and organic content, executing events and strategic sponsorships, and promotional campaigns that elevate the L'Oréal Groupe brand amongst key US audiences. The ideal candidate will bring new ideas to the table while understanding the team’s frame, be adaptive and ready to contribute to a diverse range of projects, and approach every task—large or small—with precision and a positive mindset.

  • Content & Corporate Advertising - Assist in brainstorming concepts, drafting copy and creating content for corporate channels, including the L'Oréal USA website, social accounts and live events. Support corporate ad campaigns by coordinating assets, tracking campaigns and managing agency deliverables.
  • Events & Strategic Partnerships - Support major corporate events and sponsorships, including researching venues, managing RSVP lists, distributing logos and related assets, coordinating gifting and staffing on-site.
  • Corporate Influencer Engagement - Help research partners, thought leaders, and influencers to engage on key projects. Assist with influencer activities. Monitor, compile, and analyze influencer campaign coverage, helping to compile comprehensive recap reports that measure reach and impact.
  • Administrative & Team Coordination - Support the organization of the team, including project management, coordinating calendars and arranging meetings, tracking budget, building presentations, organizing digital files and asset folders, and more.

Qualifications/Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule for the entire 12-month duration.
  • Strategic Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to grammatical detail.
  • Cultural and Digital Savvy: Strong familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and broad interest in culture and how it’s communicated.
  • Operational Excellence: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Problem Solver: A "no task is too small" attitude with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and taking initiative.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with creative tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) or social media management tools is a plus.
  • Interest in the beauty industry preferred.
