As the Sr. Distribution Manager, you will be the strategic visionary and driving force behind Clover’s distribution and warehouse teams. You will provide senior-level leadership and oversight to ensure consistent achievement of all daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting the absolute standard for operational excellence. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high performance and expertly navigating challenges, directly shaping the future of our operations. This key role reports to the Sr. Director of Operations.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 annually


A Day in the Life

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct and own the success of our distribution network, driving performance in key areas like:
  • On-Time, In-Full (OTIF): Ensure seamless and accurate delivery to our valued customers.
  • Efficiency: Maximize Order Selecting and Inventory Management performance.
  • Safety First: Champion a continuous improvement culture for staff safety, driving down incident rates.
  • Accuracy: Maintain world-class warehouse staff and inventory accuracy.
  • Operational Excellence: Be the go-to leader for system, process, and product problem-solving. You will drive root cause analysis, implement sustainable solutions, and proactively identify cost savings and greater efficiencies across the department.
  • Team Development & Mentorship: Provide high-level administrative supervision, mentorship, and strategic guidance to your team, including the Transportation Supervisor. You will coach, counsel, and develop employees, fostering an environment where focused effort on picking and inventory management thrives.
  • Technology & Systems Mastery: Develop, improve, and oversee all Distribution functionalities within our ERP systems, including Order Selection, Routing, and Inventory Control. Lead the development and ongoing oversight of robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Compliance & Investment: Support and lead initiatives to meet stringent compliance standards (e.g., SQF). Take the lead on executing the CAPEX/Investment plan for the Warehouse and Distribution.
  • Fleet & Facilities Oversight: Partner with the Transportation Supervisor on efficient and cost-effective Fleet Maintenance. Oversee all warehouse sanitation, housekeeping, timecards, approvals, inventory, and waste management.
  • Customer Advocacy: Lead critical communication with the Sales Operations Team, ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.


Role Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of distribution management leadership experience with a proven track record of successful leadership in a distribution environment
  • Extensive working knowledge of pick-to-order warehouse practices is essential.
  • Advanced experience working with ERP systems and shop floor handhelds. (SAP preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Customer Service, Logistics, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.
  • Time management, project management, and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Google Office Products, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Experience in refrigerated distribution and logistics (preferred).
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Extensive Budgeting and P&L Management Experience for a distribution/warehouse operation.


What you Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Material handling equipment certification.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies – desired, but not required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but is not required.
