Role: Senior Network Operations Engineer SD-WAN (Silver Peak) & Security

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in firewalls, routing, switching, and SD-WAN (Silver Peak) technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, providing advanced troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network incidents and provide Level 3 escalation support.
• Implement, manage, and optimize SD-WAN (Silver Peak) solutions across multiple sites.
• Manage and maintain network security policies, VPN configurations, and firewall rule bases.
• Perform network performance analysis, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new deployments and technology integrations.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering or similar role.
• Strong expertise with routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, QoS).
• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc.).
• Solid hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, especially Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, and high-availability network design.
• Understanding of network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNP / CCDP / PCNSE / NSE / Aruba EdgeConnect certifications (or equivalent).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
