Job Summary

The Director of Operations directs and oversees an organization's day-to-day operations, typically through subordinate operations managers. Implements operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. Executes operating plans and tactics to attain short- and long-term financial and mission-critical operational goals. Evaluates and optimizes current and proposed operational systems and procedures to gain efficiencies and to minimize risk. Ensures compliance with standards and regulations. Monitors financial and operational metrics to measure achievement of organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor practice managers to promote teamwork and high-quality patient service.
  • Cultivate a patient-centric environment, focusing on smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
  • Conduct P&L analysis and manage budgeting. Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for practice leaders.
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years' experience multi-site leadership role in Dental or Healthcare
  • 7+ years' experience with full P&L responsibility

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in creating an environment of engagement, growth, and development

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
