Your Role: As a skilled IT Security Engineer, you will develop security controls, defenses and countermeasures to ensure least-privilege access or to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Develops, maintains and publishes corporate information security standards, procedures and guidelines for enterprise computing platforms.
Your work: The ideal candidate in this role will have 6+ years of experience in systems or security administration and experience working with endpoint security assessment tools. Qualified candidates should have experience with one of more of the following functions.

- Experience with endpoint security assessment tools.
- Working knowledge of server and desktop operating systems to include Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
- Experience with managing trouble ticket queues and working with users and help desk technicians.
- In-depth understanding of how users impact endpoint security.
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint security principles and attack vectors.
- Technical and functional knowledge of computer hardware.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of defense in depth practices.
- A strong desire to improve endpoint security and endpoint deployment practices.
- Ability to work well with various levels of management across departments.
- Detailed and process oriented.
- Strong organizational skills and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- A self-starter, adaptive and flexible to change.
- Ability to stay up-to-date in the ever-changing security environment.
- BS or BA with an emphasis on Information Technology/Information Security OR 6+ years of Information Security or IT Operations Security.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification desired but not required.
- CompTIA Security+ or Cybersecurity Analyst+ desired but not required.
- Other security certifications, such as SANS GIAC, (ISC)2, CompTIA, Microsoft, or Mac certifications preferred.
- Network Detection & Response - Extrahop, Darktrace, Vectra, Cisco Stealthwatch/Secure Network Analytics
- Cloud Security Posture Management - Qualys, Wiz, Sysdig, Palo Prisma Cloud, Orca
- Endpoint Security - Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Palo Cortex XDR, Carbon Black
- Network Firewall / ZTNA / Web Proxy / VPN Technologies - Cisco, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Netskope, Zscaler, Fortinet, Forcepoint, Cloudflare, Akamai
- Security Operations Center (SOC) Technology - Dell Secureworks, Reliaquest Grey Matter, Splunk Phantom, Tines, Torq, Swimlane, LogRhythm, Google Sec Ops, Rapid 7
- Email Security / Phishing - Abnormal, KnowBe4, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft, Avanan, Barracuda
- Experience with administration in a mobile or disbursed user environment.
- Experience working with organizational change management teams.
- Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)
- Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
- Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
