Job Overview

Midwest Specialties LLC is hiring a Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate Division 10 product packages for commercial and institutional construction projects nationwide. This is an office-based role ideal for candidates with general contractor experience who excel in project planning, problem-solving, and technical documentation. From submittal drawings to final closeout, you'll be responsible for all phases of project execution, using your expertise in estimating, scheduling, and coordination to deliver high-quality, on-time results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small- to mid-sized projects through all phases.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications to determine product scope.
• Prepare takeoffs, estimates, and cost proposals based on project documents.
• Create accurate submittal and shop drawings using Autodesk tools.
• Enter and track sales orders, change requests, purchase orders, and fabrication work orders.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with architects, general contractors, suppliers, installers, and internal teams.
• Track deliveries and update project stakeholders with accurate timelines.
• Coordinate close-out documents and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot project issues and resolve product or delivery challenges.
• Maintain organized project records and documentation.
• Ensure all work aligns with Division 10 product specifications and contract documents.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+years of experience in general construction, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor or Division 10 subcontractor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
• Experience using Procore and Autodesk platforms is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of architectural drawings and Division 10 specifications.
• Organizational, problem-solving, and math skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
