WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A DFW MARKET SALES DIRECTOR

As the DFW Market Sales Director, you are the strategic sales leader responsible for driving measurable growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The expectation is to grow membership, increase deposits, and expand wallet share through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional member service. This role requires a high-performing individual who not only leads and empowers the team but also consistently delivers personal sales results.

You will oversee both branch operations and the outbound sales team, providing strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of consultative, solution-based service across all member touchpoints. In this role, you will coach, mentor, and develop staff to confidently promote SkyOne's comprehensive suite of financial products and services, while also maintaining accountability for individual and team sales performance. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving outbound initiatives that generate new business, strengthen member relationships, and enhance SkyOne's market presence, all while ensuring alignment with established sales goals and performance metrics.

Your role will involve actively and proactively creating new and innovative approaches to acquire relationships, as well as engaging with Select Employee Groups (SEGs) to nurture existing partnerships and drive new membership opportunities. You will ensure daily operations align with SkyOne's Service and Sales Model, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and member-centric service.

To excel as the DFW Market Sales Director at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you must be a high-performing sales leader with a strong ability to drive sales growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This role requires someone who not only empowers and develops their team to achieve results, but also consistently delivers individual sales performance. You are expected to lead by example-setting the pace, producing results, and holding yourself accountable to the same high standards you set for your team.

A proven track record in sales strategy, execution, and leadership is essential. You should be skilled in setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), developing effective departmental processes, and identifying opportunities to grow membership, increase deposits, and expand wallet share through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional service.

You will be responsible for actively and proactively creating innovative approaches to acquire new relationships, while also nurturing existing partnerships with Select Employee Groups (SEGs) and local businesses. Your ability to engage the community and build strong external relationships will be key to expanding SkyOne's presence in the market.

Strong analytical skills are required to manage budgets, monitor cost efficiency, and identify areas for sales training and improvement. Familiarity with digital technologies and retail sales processes is necessary to manage branch operations effectively. Emotional intelligence and adaptability will help you foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Ultimately, success in this role depends on your ability to drive sales, lead with impact, and deliver results-both through your team and through your own individual contributions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years business degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum five years experience in a financial institution and five years' sales experience.
  • Two years of leadership and management experience supervising and developing a team.
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a heightened orientation to detail, excellent organizational skills, and execute discretion and independent judgment.
  • Fosters a diverse and respectful workplace where team members are valued for who they are.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A superior level of member service, be a positive role model for staff, and demonstrate a high level of commitment to the organization.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
