We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HRIS Specialist to support and enhance our Human Resources Information Systems. You'll play a key role in maintaining data integrity, optimizing system functionality, and ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Summary

The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for data integrity by maintaining our HRIS and ensuring HR processes are followed with all documentation completed accurately and timely. You will work with the functions of the People Operations Team such as Payroll, HR, Benefits, Talent Acquisition and cross functionally with other departments. This position is also responsible for the configuration, maintenance, administration, and support of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other HR platforms in alignment with HR programs, goals, and initiatives. While also delivering a high level of customer service for our employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and manage HRIS reports to support decision-making and compliance
  • Maintain system access, roles, and permissions to ensure data security
  • Support HRIS adoption and provide training and documentation for users
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors on updates and enhancements
  • Audit employee data for accuracy and consistency across platforms
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to improve employee experience
  • Manage training recertification tracking and communication
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files and performance documentation
  • Create and manage surveys and dashboards for leadership insights
  • Respond to employee inquiries and internal support tickets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Contribute to HR projects and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot errors independently and create a plan of action to address errors
  • Working knowledge with HRIS platforms
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of entire Microsoft Suite products with emphasis on Outlook and Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills for internal teams as well as employee facing scenarios
  • Excellent time management skills and project management skills to ensure timely project completion
  • Real time updating of Microsoft OneNote to provide project transparency to HR Manager

Required Education And Experience

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of HRIS Administrator experience

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
  • 5 + years of experience in HRIS Administration
  • Familiarity with multiple HRIS (Paycom preferred)

Additional Qualifications, Certifications, Etc.

  • Human Resources Certification, i.e. PHR, SPHR, SHRM
