ValueAdd Research and Analytics Solutions LLP, a reputed consulting firm, is currently seeking a proactive, highly efficient Account Payable Specialist to manage our payables system. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of payments, ensuring that ValueAdd’s bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner, complying with the company’s policy.
  • Controlling expenses by processing, verifying, reconciling invoices and creating a comprehensive weekly report for management to review.
  • Develop a system to track all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Ensure that all bills are paid on time, accurately, through delegation, process optimization and system management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
  • Perform monthly bank settlements and maintain petty cash fund.
  • Support the finance team during the annual and quarterly audits by providing necessary documentation, reports, and other requested material.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A certification like a Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Solid expertise in processing accounts payable and general ledger coding.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel to handle large data and generate reports.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, the capacity to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential, be it interacting with colleagues, liaising with external vendors, or reporting to management.
